How we behave here

House rules

Seven rules. They exist so that an anonymous room full of students stays somewhere worth being.

  1. Be genuine

Jini is for real connection. Do not impersonate anyone, run fake accounts, or misrepresent who you are. Anonymity is protection, not a mask for deception.

  2. Respect a no

If someone is not interested, move on. Continuing after being asked to stop is harassment, and it ends the account.

  3. No harassment, no hate

Zero tolerance for bullying, hate speech, discrimination or threats — including anything targeting race, gender, sexuality, religion or disability.

  4. Keep it legal

No illegal content, no arranging illegal activity, no academic misconduct. That includes contract cheating, which will also be reported to your university.

  5. Nothing explicit

This is not the place for sexual content or solicitation. Keep conversations appropriate and consensual.

  6. Protect other people’s privacy

Do not share anyone else’s personal information, and do not screenshot private conversations. The anonymity here only works if everyone holds the line.

  7. Report what you see

If something is wrong, flag it. Reports are reviewed within twenty-four hours. Filing false reports is itself a breach.

What happens if you break them

Depending on severity: a warning, a temporary suspension, or a permanent ban. Threats, illegal activity and severe harassment skip straight to a permanent ban, and may be referred to your university or to police.
